This intensive two-day course, hosted and taught by one of BenchmarkQA's practicing Quality Assurance professionals, will help you better manage your software testing processes. You'll learn how to develop a structured test strategy that identifies your needs, defines your process, organizes your efforts and maximizes your resources, giving you the tools and know-how to make a lasting impact on your QA and testing strategy.

During two fast-paced days of intensive learning, you will:

Through our training, you will:

  • Expand your knowledge of the QA & test life cycle as a parallel to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Assess your business and technological risks and use this risk assessment to prioritize your testing.
  • Develop an understanding of how Agile and other iterative methodologies affect test planning.
  • Learn the various test types and determine which ones to include in your plan to have the most effective and efficient test coverage.
  • Learn how to estimate the test effort.

On the job, you will:

  • Determine with confidence when to use various types of tests, detailed test cases, test checklists, and test scenarios.
  • Create the key deliverables from the test planning phase - test strategy, test plan, and requirements traceability matrix.
  • Plan for the impact of virtual environments and cloud computing on the test effort.
  • Adjust your existing processes and implement SSTP methods to better assess and manage your test effort, using metrics to demonstrate your success.
